CHLORINATORS
Because of the corrosive nature of today’s chemicals, heater manufacturers and industry professionals recommend that chlorinators be installed on all systems using chlorine.
Chlorinators distribute chlorine at a point past the heater and other equipment so helping to prevent damage to the copper heat exchanger. These units also distribute chemicals evenly and in a consistent manner so assisting in better water quality and chemical application frequency.
Thoughtful consideration should be given to installing a chlorinator. Damage to heaters and other equipment caused by chemical concentration can be expensive to repair. These units will assist in preventing such damage and are therefore recommended.
